Hello Bicycle Enthusiast,
Dot and I are back from
The Cambridge Valley Cycling Club is hosting its usual
Sunday Morning ride, meeting @
That ride often splits into two groups.
We like to call them the "A for aggressive" (40-50 miles)
and the "B for brisk" (20-30 miles).
This week and for many Sundays to come we will be adding
a "C for casual" ride,
about 8 to 12 miles, to start at
at a pace which is set by the slowest rider that week.
In other words, "you won't be holding anyone up!"
As always, trailers, child seats, tag-a-longs are welcome.
(Young children need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.)
If you find after a week of being casual that we don't ride fast enough,
or long enough, you can join in with the "Brisk" group the next week.
A note about parking: Ackley & Ross Funeral Home,
across
ten vehicles in the back; they have agreed to let us park there
as long as we do not block access to the garage,
and as long as there is not a funeral scheduled for Sunday morning.
Otherwise park on side streets and ride to Jana's, or better yet,
ride your bike from home, if that's reasonable.
Oh yeah, we don't ride in the rain. A mist? Perhaps.
If you're questioning the weather you can call the King's @ 677-3505.
Someone may answer and let you know the status.
You can call us @ 686-0175, if the casual ride is not happening,
we'll answer because we'll be home.
Hope to see you Sunday.
Helmets are required for all Club sponsored rides.
Sincerely,
David (& Dot)
