Club Rides Beginning in April, CVC sponsors rides three times a week, which are open to all. In order to participate, riders must sign a club liability waiver, and must wear a helmet and follow all traffic rules and regulations. Wednesday night rides will start from Brian Dansin's house, 134 West Main Street, in Cambridge. Brian's phone is 677-8685. Friday night rides will start from Fronhofer Tool Company barn, located on Cossayuna Lake, west side, on County Route 48. For directions, or more information, call Van Fronhofer at 854-7687. Sunday morning rides will start from Jana and Skip King's house, 108 Main Street, in Cambridge. Phone here is 677-3530. Casual Sunday rides will start in May, leaving from Jana and Skip King's house every Sunday morning at 10:30. Beginning riders, and experienced riders who prefer a slower, companionable ride will want to participate. From time to time, rides may start from other locations; this will be noted in the club calendar listing on this website. In general, ride leaders will carry a cell phone belonging to the club. This will provide access to emergency services should the need arise. Keep in mind, however, that cell phone coverage in this area is spotty, at best. The club cell phone number is 518-683-2186. RIDES ARE SCHEDULED FOR SUNDAY MORNINGS AT 10:00, WEDNESDAY EVENINGS AT 5:30, AND FRIDAY EVENINGS AT 5:30. Please remember that the evening ride must start promptly because days are still short. Starting times may be adjusted as the season progresses, but changes will always be posted on the calendar and in the Home Page sidebar.
