Who are we?  And what are we up to?

Early Spring of '04 found some of us getting our bikes out, pumping up our tires, but wanting more...And so, a group of people got together who love cycling and the beautiful rides in this area, and Cambridge Valley Cycling was started.  We rode separately, we rode together, we rode in the early morning.  During scheduled rides, groups of us would ride together and wonderful things would happen:  we learned from each other, we supported and encouraged each other, and we realized we were riding better.

During the past three years, we've accomplished quite a bit...

  • Rides were scheduled twice a week, for both casual and serious riders

  • We supported the Cambridge Balloon Festival Classic Race, The Battenkill Roubaix, and our own Fall Foliage Century Ride

  • We developed a set of maps and cue cards for over 20 local rides

  • We sponsored an overnight trip from Salem to Lake George, with sag support

We hope you will join us in 2008.  Whatever your ability level and experience, we'd like you to take part in the group rides and the good fellowship of a group of friends and neighbors, brought together by a love of cycling and a desire to share our enthusiasm with others.
